Benjamin Black joined the PLUS team
In October 2020 Benjamin joined the PLUS team. At PLUS he will undertake his PhD within the ValPar.CH project.
Originally from York in the United Kingdom, Ben completed his Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences at Edinburgh Napier University. After this he spent several years getting his hands dirty in conservation and community ecotourism projects in both Scotland and Cambodia. This inspired him to return to education and complete his Masters in Environmental Science, Policy and Management in the Erasmus Mundus MESPOM program. At PLUS he will undertake his PhD within the external pageValPar.CH project in which he will use bayesian networks to model future scenarios of a functioning ecological infrastructure for Switzerland in terms of ecosystem service provision and biodiversity outcomes.
